Client: Street Soccer Scotland
Using football to challenge social exclusion ... and win the World Cup
Street Soccer Scotland provides a range of grassroots ‘street soccer’ sessions and events at local and national levels, focusing on engaging, coaching and supporting socially disadvantaged adults and young people across Scotland. Through its Street Soccer Academy it provides personal development programmes which are delivered in partnerships with relevant agencies.
Scotland’s ‘Homeless World Cup’ team is managed and selected by Street Soccer Scotland and they’ve lifted the ‘Homeless World Cup’ twice, first in Denmark in 2007 and second in Paris in 2011.
Our work with Street Soccer Scotland is delivered on a pro bono basis and part of our social responsibility activity. We support the social enterprise’s media relations and stakeholder activity and perform as a ‘sounding board’ for the organisation’s Chief Executive, David Duke on communications matters.
